Vana Solutions is currently looking for an energetic and dedicated individual who is interested in working on challenging projects to join our innovative team in Dayton, Ohio as a FileNet P8 developer.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience designing and implementing FileNet Solutions along with a thorough understanding of SharePoint 2007/2010.

This position will be responsible for:

• Providing technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs
• Analyzing business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions
• Developing original and/or complex code or provide coding guidance to less experienced staff
• Leading and/or performing modeling, simulations and analysis efforts
• Verifying program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs
• Participating in overall systems testing
• Leading the migration of applications to production
• Developing new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides
• Leading projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff
• Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and overseeing the updating and testing of the business continuation plan

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Be a US Citizen
• 7+ years’ application development and implementation experience
• 3+ years’ experience with IBM/FileNet P8 Process Engine, including design of workflows, component integrator components, and integration with other systems
• 3+ years’ experience with Java back-end development
• 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
• 1+ years’ experience in integration with SharePoint 2007/2010
• Experience in matrix organization including communicating with non-technical business users
• Working knowledge of XML, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL
• Excellent communications ability - can effectively communicate to all levels of the organization from technicians to executive management
